Too much perspective

Having a “big picture” perspective on things is generally good, but don’t have too much of a good thing. Deciding “what really matters” can convince you that what you are doing is not really that valuable. Then you lose your motivation, your job, you’re living out of your car, you get sick and you die. Balance the “big picture” with what needs to be done today, for whatever reason, good or bad. Not everything can or should be “important”.
